ReStone, the first ReSource collection.

Minimalism with a light environmental footprint.

Mirage

The first collection to be created under the ReSource brand name is a porcelain stoneware take on a stone with a granular finish and a delicate marbled pattern, for an absolutely contemporary, minimalist look.

ReStone can rightly be considered a milestone in the new Mirage product family, a brand name under which we’ll be presenting all the collections conceived and created in accordance with specific, low-environmental-impact production standards. This new alternative, circular eco-design recovers waste and turns it into an invaluable resource. This idea, now a reality, was derived from a responsible approach that laid the foundations for our way to say Eco.

Each ReSource collection is a contribution to a virtuous system that places the accent on reusing materials and reducing consumption.

Following this eco-logical approach, the collection is made with a ceramic body that includes more than 60% recycled material, comprising both raw processing waste and fired material fed back into the production cycle. Because this allows for a reduction of the slab thickness to 8 mm, this product also significantly reduces CO2 emissions, during both the production and transport phases.

This new practice offers the opportunity to strike a perfect balance between Mirage style and practical responsibility towards the environment.

The new trends towards substantial sobriety.

The trend towards a new, simpler look and a low-key style is increasingly evident in the choice of fine-quality materials featuring textures with a subtle, discreet visual impact, suitable for creating calm environments conducive to reflection. ReStone follows this inspiration, offering a quintessentially minimalist approach with a new take on a stone with a visual appeal that slots smoothly into the avant-garde of architecture and interior design.

ReStone is a blend of Limestone and Chauvigny Stone, a limestone quarried in the Vienne region. The appearance is reminiscent of stretches of sand dotted with micro-fossils that add points of interest and depth to the collection, together with a beautifully delicate, marbled pattern that embellishes the slabs with subtle, understated veining effects. The pursuit of substance and formal purity has for some time traced out an essential new direction that can be summed up in the term ecoluxury, an ideal choice for those seeking to create a sophisticated, inviting look, with a high standard of quality and ethics.
In this scenario, ReStone plays an essential role in shaping living spaces that aspire to visual calm, striking a sort of meditative balance. This new collection is thus an expression of undersigning, and a simple, authentic approach to design that intentionally, responsibly creates environments that are a celebration of minimalism.

A connection with nature and references to natural elements are – today more than ever before – an aesthetic and creative trend that nonetheless requires bolstering with substance, expressed through quality and research. Making ample use of recycling, ReStone slots smoothly and attractively into this new philosophy, bringing with it the added value of environmental awareness.

Five colours inspired by nature

In a perfect combination of colour and design, porcelain stoneware continues – according to the latest 2024 trends – to be a popular covering material.

The collection is available in five natural shades inspired by the earth and ranging from a slightly pinkish sand tone (Dune) to the more intense Safari, as well as a warm beige (Indian) and tones that recall the lava stone of the northern lands (Iceland) and the volcanic islands of southern Europe (Santorini).

The five versions come in five sizes, from the versatile 30x60 to the more classic 60x60, as well as 60x120 and the larger 120x120 and 120x278 sizes.

ReStone comes in four carefully selected surface finishes: Spazzolata, Naturale, R10 and Strutturata. The Strutturata finish comes in the 8 mm thickness for the 60x120 size, while for the 60x60 and 60x120 sizes in the Evo 2/e outdoor range, the thickness is 20 mm.

The collection is enriched with three decorative combinations in the 60x120 size, with a thickness of 8 mm: the Line and Arrow variants, with their sophisticated relief geometric effects, and the Hammered version, reminiscent of the classic textures of hammered stone.

All the decorative options are designed to add character and elegance to a product that is a sublime expression of our on-going commitment to increasingly sustainable production.
