Indomita: A project that celebrates local creativity.

Aesthetic contaminations between rationality and innovation

Mirage

Indomita is the ceramic collection interpreted by Letizia Ballotti, an artist and upcycler from Emilia, who sees art as a powerful tool to enrich both life and personal spaces.

For Letizia, art and design share a common mission: to beautify and transform environments, making them places of beauty and meaning. With this collection, tradition and innovation merge, creating unique pieces that blur the line between the useful and the beautiful.

Indomita tells stories of our heritage, tracing the path of our artistic future.

The Indomita collection draws inspiration from powerful and symbolic animals, reinterpreted on vibrant and dynamic textures, capable of enhancing the subjects but also standing alone as decorative works. These elements harmoniously integrate with the concept of “Positive Eyes,” a central theme of the collection that embodies struggle and hope.

The stylized and colorful eyes are not just a decorative detail but a true symbol of an optimistic vision: an invitation to view the world with positivity, strength, and beauty.

This project represents Mirage’s deep commitment to valuing local art and talent.

The Indomita collection represents for us a perfect balance between artistic tradition and sustainable innovation. Born from our collaboration with local artists, this collection enhances the cultural heritage of the area through ceramics. The concept behind Indomita is inspired by the "shared value" philosophy, which aims to create a positive impact for us and the surrounding community.
The artists involved explore the potential of the material to tell stories, traditions, and connections to the area, transforming each piece into a work that celebrates the union of innovation and memory. This approach not only enriches the aesthetic value of our product but also strengthens our role as promoters of sustainability that goes beyond the environment, embracing the social and cultural fabric of the territory.
