Novembre ci ha regalato un momento straordinario di scambio creativo: la Dubai Design Week 2024.
Questo evento, appuntamento imprescindibile per l'architettura e il design mediorientale, è stato l'occasione ideale per presentare l'esclusiva linea Atelier Mirage: una gamma di prodotti realizzati con la collaborazione di architetti e designer di fama internazionale. Dal 6 al 9 novembre, abbiamo portato il meglio della nostra produzione nel cuore del Dubai Design District (D3), luogo simbolo di innovazione e sperimentazione.
Indomita: Innovation, Art, and Territory
A project that combines innovation, creativity in ceramics, and a deep connection to the Emilia region.
During the event held at the Project Point in the Dubai Design District, Letizia Ballotti showcased her art by creating a live piece dedicated to the Arabian oryx, a symbol of resilience and adaptability, perfectly reflecting the versatility and durability of our materials.
Art and Nature: An Emotional Dialogue
Art and design intertwine in Indomita, creating spaces that evoke deep emotions.
The collection, with its vibrant textures and images of wild animals, represents a bold style and an optimistic outlook on the world, in line with the concept of “Positive Eyes.”
This dialogue between nature and design invites the exploration of new perspectives and enriches spaces with a unique aesthetic.
The Thousand Shades of Atelier Mirage
At Dubai Design Week, Atelier Mirage captured the attention of an international audience, establishing itself as a reference point for those seeking innovative and distinctive design solutions.
Nagomi x Hadi Teherani
A prime example is NAGOMI, created in collaboration with architect and designer Hadi Teherani. Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of natural harmony, this collection reimagines glass from cathode ray tubes of monitors and TV screens, giving it new life as unique mosaics.
Each tile, intentionally imperfect, celebrates the concepts of craftsmanship and sustainability. Inspired by the natural elements of water, wood, fire, metal, and earth, the five graphic variations of Nagomi offer a perfect balance between refined aesthetics and environmental consciousness.
Plumage x Alfonso Femia
Recently, Plumage has joined the collections of Atelier Mirage, embodying the perfect blend of technological innovation and artisanal mastery.
Created in collaboration with architect and designer Alfonso Femia, the collection is inspired by the grace and complexity of feathers, which are transformed into unique and refined textures. Plumage stands out for its versatility, offering solutions that enhance spaces with elegance and personality.
Glocal x Giulio Cappellini
Among the standout collections at Dubai Design Week is Glocal, born from a collaboration with architect Giulio Cappellini. Like all Atelier Mirage collections, Glocal explores new creative frontiers, combining the artisanal quality of Made in Italy with an international perspective.
Its colors and textures, inspired by the minimalism of polished concrete, range from neutral tones to vibrant geometric details, meeting the versatile needs of contemporary design.
Reflet x Andrea Boschetti
Among the showcased proposals, the Reflet collection, designed in collaboration with architect and designer Andrea Boschetti, was a must.
This line revolutionizes porcelain stoneware, transforming it into a reflective surface capable of capturing and multiplying light. Available in elegant silver and gold tones, Reflet adds a unique elegance to spaces, enriching them with light reflections that enhance the perception of space.
Whether in indoor or outdoor settings, surfaces coated with Reflet become mirrored and dynamic elements, capable of creating an ever-evolving visual experience.
