ReGea: the essence of Sicilian stones

From excess to sustainability excellence

ReGea enriches the ReSource family with a new formulation that incorporates recycled glass from decommissioned photovoltaic panels.

This step forward in ceramic eco-design overcomes the challenges of industrial recycling, setting new standards for sustainability and energy efficiency. But ReGea is also a tribute to Sicily: a journey through geology and architecture, translated into porcelain stoneware surfaces inspired by local stones and reinterpreted with advanced technologies to offer rich textures, authentic details, and a strong material identity.

Ceramic technology and sustainability meet in the heart of the Mediterranean.

“Re” identifies our ReSource line — a tangible and measurable commitment to a circular production model. “Gea” evokes Gaia, symbol of the Earth and of life.
Thanks to our cutting-edge facilities, we are able to integrate regenerated materials into the production process, sourced from companies that lack the technology to recover them.
With ReGea, we raise the percentage of recycled content to 63%, including both pre- and post-consumer materials, faithfully reproducing the authentic character of Sicilian stones in porcelain stoneware. This approach both celebrates local identity and looks towards a more sustainable future.

With ReGea, we redefine the concept of sustainable ceramic surfaces.

A concrete step towards the circular economy.

The integration of recycled glass from decommissioned photovoltaic panels is a technical and environmental achievement of great significance.

This represents a concrete step forward in the evolution of our industrial processes and a genuine contribution to the circular economy as applied to porcelain stoneware.
Thanks to the advanced technology of our facilities and ongoing research into the recovery of regenerated resources, we are able to enhance the value of a material that is otherwise difficult to dispose of, transforming it into a new resource.
An action that goes beyond the product itself, giving new life to something that would otherwise remain a complex waste to manage.

ReGea is born from the observation of nature and the desire to reinterpret it through a contemporary lens.

The collection is divided into two families: Ragusia, inspired by the architectural tradition of the Hyblean Plateau, and Sciara, which draws from the lava flows of Mount Etna.

Thanks to careful research into textures, tones, and chromatic variations, the collection offers an authentic and versatile material experience, suitable for both residential spaces and large-scale projects.

ReGea is the meeting point between memory and innovation: a project that draws on the geological and cultural richness of Sicily to shape surfaces that tell the story of the land with authenticity and depth.
The use of 63% regenerated materials, combined with the introduction of recycled glass from photovoltaic panels, turns each slab into a statement of environmental responsibility.
A tangible gesture towards a design that goes beyond aesthetics, embracing the value of time, matter, and respect for the future.

Versatile surfaces rich in memory and innovation.
