ReSource
Concept
For the environment, waste can be a resource
ReSource is the Mirage brand name that identifies the collections created with a specific commitment to sustainability, produced with a close eye on the environment. The dynamic ecodesign process behind ReSource regenerates materials by recovering and using what was once considered waste, turning it into a vital resource for a production model inspired by the balance of nature, where nothing is wasted.
ReUse
Reuse for renewal
Our technology turns waste materials into new tiles, demonstrating that value can be rediscovered and reused, reducing environmental impact and promoting a culture of reuse.
ReDuce
Reduction for reinvention
Through on-going innovation, we undertake to reduce the ecological footprint of our production process and our products, making an active contribution to reducing pollution and preserving natural resources.
ReSpect
Respect for eco-designing
Every aspect of what we do is guided by respect for the environment, for the people who work with us and the communities around us. we respect the planet by designing products that are eco-friendly as well as beautiful.
Technology
60.2% recycled material
Our regeneration process combines 39.8% natural raw materials with 48.6% processing waste and 11.6% materials that have completed the firing cycle, adding up to a total of 60.2% pre-consumer recycled content. This allows us to create porcelain stoneware surfaces with a lower environmental impact without compromising on the excellent standards of quality and function the Mirage brand has always been renowned for.

New thickness 8mm
With Resource, we're pleased to present a new, even more sustainable 8mm thickness
The introduction of this new 8mm thickness uses fewer resources and thus consumes less energy during the production cycle. This also allows for a reduction in transport impact by optimising space, boosting the efficiency of logistics and reducing CO2 emissions per square metre.
ReSource is an ethical choice that reduces waste and uses resources more responsibly.
Certifications
We view independent assessments as a tool for improvement; for customers, they guarantee our genuine commitment.
Ecovadis
We have been part of the Ecovadis network since 2020. Ecovadis analyses the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) strategy of thousands of companies, to help them improve their performance in terms of sustainability. In recent years, Mirage has raised its score by several points. Mirage’s strengths, as highlighted by the platform’s certifiers, are the attention it devotes to the environment and the human rights of its workers.
Declare
The Declare label informs project engineers, companies and the end consumer where a product comes from, what it is composed of and how it can be disposed of at the end of its life cycle. Mirage has decided to adopt the Declare label for its products, as a guarantee of transparency for our customers. The label is issued by the International Living Future Institute (ILFI), a non-profit organisation committed to extending the use of sustainable practices in the construction sector. Declare is the ID card of our tiles, indicating their components, the complete absence of hazardous substances, their duration and the fact they are fully recyclable.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRODUCT DECLARATIONS
The EDP (Environmental Product Declaration) is a voluntary instrument, certified by third parties, which indicates the environmental impact of each of the stages in a product’s life cycle. Mirage analyses the environmental impact of its tiles, considering all the phases in their life cycle: from the quarrying of the raw materials through to the re-use, recycling or disposal of the tiles.
ISO 14001
Mirage has ISO 14001 certification, attesting to the drafting of an environmental policy on the part of the company, the establishment of measurable objectives to reduce the organisation’s environmental impact and the implementation of dedicated programmes to achieve those objectives.
ISO 17889-1
Mirage was the first company in the sector to obtain ISO 17889-1 certification, which specifically regards ceramic products. Inspired by the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, ISO 17889-1 certification establishes 38 environmental, social and economic sustainability indicators. For the company, it offers a further acknowledgement of the efforts made so far.
ISO 45001
Mirage considers the health and safety of its workers the company’s top priority. This is why we have adopted ISO 45001 certification, which establishes a system for the management of risks regarding workers, and for their constant involvement, with a view to on-going improvement.
ISO 9001
ISO 9001 certifies the existence of an efficient quality management system in the company. The key aim of this voluntary certification is to ensure customer satisfaction. Our quality management system allows Mirage to guarantee close, personalised attention to everyone we engage with.
Product Environmental Footprint
The PEF (Product Environmental Footprint) is an environmental impact study that indicates the performance of a product during its life cycle.
LEED COMPLIANT
LEED certification, which assesses the performance of buildings in terms of sustainability, establishes that all the construction materials used for LEED buildings must comply with a series of social and environmental sustainability requisites. All Mirage tiles are LEED compliant, and contribute, to a varying extent, to the obtaining of LEED credits. Mirage has chosen to work alongside constructors on the development of resilient, sustainable buildings and cities.
WELL CERTIFICATION
The aim of WELL certification, promoted by the International WELL Building Institute, is to certify building projects, with a view to improving the quality of life of the people who will be using the buildings. Mirage tiles guarantee project engineers materials compliant with WELL standards, with characteristics including the absence of hazardous emissions and the ability to combat the spread of mould and bacteria.
FICHE DE DÉCLARATION ENVIRONNEMENTALE ET SANITAIRE
The FDES (Fiche de Déclaration Environnementale et Sanitaire) presents the outcomes of a life cycle analysis of a product for the building industry. In addition, it provides information on the substances contained in a product, and how healthy it is
GREENGUARD
Testifying to the company’s commitment to promoting increasingly healthy environments, and in particular to improving air quality, Mirage has obtained Greenguard certification, attesting to low levels of VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds). Mirage has obtained the GOLD score, indicating the top level of performance according to the Greenguard standards.
Each ReSource collection helps create a virtuous system that promotes the reuse of materials, reduces consumption and respects the environment.
ReConcrete
Collection
ReConcrete
Mirage continues its commitment to sustainability with the new ReConcrete project. This second chapter of the ReSource product family reinforces our goal of integrating over 60% pre-consumer recycled materials into our collections, combining production efficiency with innovation in porcelain stoneware surfaces for contemporary architecture.
ReStone
Collection
ReStone
ReStone is our porcelain interpretation of a limestone extracted from the Vienne region, a blending Limestone and Chauvigny Stone.
